If you like parks, this is the neighborhood for you!

 

Lake Merced and its beautiful parks are to the south and Stern Grove (sorry, I didn't get a good picture but trust me, it's awesome) is to the north.

The homes in this neighborhood are above average,

there are several churches within walking distance,

 

and there are a few schools.  Look: this one is getting modernized.

 

This is the modernization? Yikes.

 

A unique feature of this area the tacky ornately painted water reservoir.

 

The best part of this neighborhood?  The Stonestown mall!
